Great debate! I saw his comment as well, but lacked the motivation to enter into debate. While I consider myself more moderate than liberal, I share your opinions on Romney and his lack of qualifications for the seat of president due to the extremely questionable efficacy (as every analyst has deemed them impossible or otherwise harmful) of his proposed (and extremely vague) plans.
