Pareidolia

We see meaning in meaningless things. It's our way of justifying the world, or at least trying to make sense of what we see. After all, we know very little, so when the unexplained happens, we look to whatever makes the most sense to explain it.

But then, is anything ever meaningless? Can it ever be said that a face that appears on the moon has no meaning? Or is it part of our innate desire to believe in the unbelievable? That we are not alone in the universe, and perhaps there actually is someone looking back at us from the great unknown?

This post is short because all I've had is a random, meandering, meaningless thought. Or is it meaningful?

I dunno.

That's all for now,
Das Flüg
